Have you ever heard a voice that has just blown you away? If you’re a longtime reader, then you know that we’re pretty much obsessed with introducing you to the latest and greatest in the music scene. That said, it’s not often that we share with you a concert vocalist who just so happens to be a kindergartner.

That’s right, the little girl whose image is at the top of this post was just 5-years-old when she wowed the Internet by belting out the iconic Christmas tune, “Oh Holy Night.” The pint-sized singer’s name is Claire Ryann Crosby, and to be fair, we actually introduced her to you a few years back, when she was just a toddler. Back then, she was a budding viral sensation, making YouTube videos with her dad–just a few years later, she is a bonafide success story!

Her YouTube account, Claire and the Crosbys, boasts a whopping 1.5 million subscribers, an incredible feat, considering Claire was literally born in THIS decade. Having said that, Claire Ryann Crosby does owe at least some of her success to her talented father, Dave Crosby.

If you are a fan of the televised music competition show, The Voice, that name may sound familiar to you. The dad of three competed in season 13 of the show. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the doting father also made sure to include his kids in the amazing experience.

But, before Crosby landed his big break on the television show, he decided to upload a video of he and Claire singing the Little Mermaid classic, “Part of Your World.” The clip quickly went viral; in fact, today it has garnered an incredible 17 million views!

In a recent interview with GeekWire, the dad explained his thoughts before and after posting the now-iconic viral video.

“I thought, ‘This is awesome, I’m gonna start a YouTube channel with my daughter,’” Crosby said. “Our first video goes viral. I just posted it on my Facebook wall and we had this crazy experience — she goes on some talk shows and all that stuff and basically our YouTube channel is born. From that it was just one experience after another.”
