Meghan Trainor Defends Having Side-by-Side Toilets With Her Husband

When a couple falls in love and decides to get married, they usually want to spend a lot of time together. They might want to do everything they can together like eating, sleeping, walking hand-in-hand. You know, everything.

Secrets aren’t good in marriage, but usually couples still maintain a certain level of privacy. Usually couples at least allow each other to go to the bathroom on their own. Kids may not respect bathroom boundaries, but if a husband or wife wants to poop in privacy, usually the other spouse would be okay with it.

Meghan Trainor does not require any privacy from her husband, Daryl Sabara. She even encourages him to hang out with her while she’s going to the bathroom. Thankfully, their bathroom is designed such that it’s very easy for the two of them to spend time together on the toilet. That’s because their bathroom has two toilets right next to each other.

Yes, this sounds bizarre, and no, their house didn’t come that way when they moved in. A 2 toilet master bathroom is not a new style trend. Trainor actually asked the contractor to design the bathroom that way.

Trainor revealed the details about her odd 2 toilet bathroom on the podcast “Why Won’t You Date Me?” Her brother Ryan Trainor joined her on the podcast and described his sister and her hubby as “weirdos.” He said, “They poop together! She’s pooping and Daryl’s like, ‘I’m going to go hang out with you now!'”

Watch the video below to learn more about Trainor’s odd bathroom and how surprisingly similar it is to an old Saturday Night Live sketch.

In her defense, Trainor wrote on Twitter that they have only actually pooped together one time.

Many people responded to Trainor’s tweet saying this bathroom setup would not work for them.

Others feel that Trainor shouldn’t let anyone’s thoughts on her bathroom setup bother her.

Would you ever consider getting side by side toilets in a bathroom? Do you think Trainor is a “weirdo” for her unusual at-home bathroom habits?
