Makeup Brand Calls Out Amber Heard After She Makes False Claim in Court
The court case between former couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continues, but it seems that the lawyers aren’t necessarily doing all of the research they should be doing before presenting evidence in court.
Depp is suing Heard for $50 million. He claims that when Heard wrote about domestic violence back in 2018, even though she didn’t specifically say his name, it still hurt his career. He claims he is innocent and is suing Heard to clear his name for multiple reasons but especially for the sake of his children.
While in court, Heard’s lawyers mentioned a specific beauty product that they claim Heard used to cover up bruises from Depp’s supposed physical abuse. You would think that lawyers would do their research before making this claim which the beauty brand itself has come forward to debunk.
In court, Heard’s lawyers specifically called out Milani Cosmetics and claimed that Heard used to carry the brand’s All In One Correcting Kit with her at all times. Her lawyer said in court, “This was what she used. She became very adept at it. You’re going to hear the testimony from Amber about how she had to mix the different colors for the different days of the bruises as they developed in the different coloring and how she would use to touch those up to be able to cover those.”
On TikTok, Milani debunked this false claim by stating the facts. Depp and Heard met in 2012. They got married in 2015 and divorced in 2017. Meanwhile, the All In One Correcting Kit wasn’t even released until 2017. It’s impossible for Heard to be carrying around a makeup kit that wasn’t even available yet.

TikTok users are saying they will now be customers for life and are comparing this revelation to the way Elle Woods won a court case in the movie “Legally Blond” by stating the facts about how to care for a perm. One person wrote, “Omg is this like when Elle Woods cracked down on the case because of the perm thing.”
Another comment reads, “I knew giving y’all my business was always a good idea, and here y’all are just reinforcing that! Thank you!”
Yet another comment referenced the Oscar slap between Will Smith and Chris Rock stating, “Milani said ‘Get my name out your mouth.'”
Many comments call for this information to be submitted as evidence in court. One comment reads, “Someone send this to Johnny Depps lawyer.” Another person wrote, “How do we submit TikToks for evidence!? HURRRRRY!”
