Now Is Your Chance to Have Holiday Lunch at Lorelai Gilmore’s House
Fans of the Gilmore Girls should get ready for some California fun. You can take an imaginary trip to Stars Hollow, Connecticut to hang out in Lorelai’s house.
As part of their studio tour, Warner Brothers has opened the fictional home up to visitors from December 22 to January 6. In Burbank, California, you can step into the mother and daughter’s cozy kitchen and explore the rest of house – including Rory’s teenage bedroom and Lorelai’s newlywed nest.
Although we’re not sure if the monkey lamp will be there, fans can expect to find props and costumes on the tour. If you get hungry, you can buy lunch at the set that features seasonal goodies like cranberry sauce, turkey, roasted chicken, salads, and veggie burgers. Mmm.
Since the Gilmore Girls set tour is not separate, guests will have to pay full admission for the 3-hour tour that includes both a guided portion and self-guided segment. That doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of all the great opportunities for pics.
Visitors will also want to take a stroll over to the town’s square to get some shots at the famous gazebo. Before you ask, the inn and the family mansion are not a part of the deal, but you can make the most of your time at 37 Maple St. Fun fact: the set was also used for the show Pretty Little Liars, so if you liked that show too, go!
Were you a big fan of Gilmore Girls while it aired? Will you try to stop by this house if you have time?
