Light Up Your 4th Of July With A Lighter Kind Of Flag Cake
Here’s a patriotic dessert that’s red, white, blue— and jiggly! This super fun take on a flag cake comes to us from the Food Network and is an easy treat that your kids will love to help you make as much as they love eating it. You’ll Need:
Strawberry Layer
– 8 cups boiling water
– 5 plain gelatin packets
– 4 strawberry gelatin packets
– Sliced strawberries
White Layer
– 3 cups heated sweetened coconut milk
– 3 cups heated unsweetened coconut milk
– 2 cups cold whole milk
– 8 plain gelatin packets
Blue Layer
– 4 1/2 cups boiling water
– 4 blue gelatin packets
– 2 plain gelatin packets
– Whipped cream, in a pastry bag fitted with star tip, for topping
– Blueberries, for garnish
