Lady Gaga Surprised California Fire Evacuees by Hand-Delivering Pizza to Shelter
Fires don’t care who you are. It doesn’t matter how much money you have or how famous you might be; a fire can still destroy your home and everything in it. Many celebrities live in Malibu and the surrounding area, and many of their homes are now, for lack of a better word, gone.
Shannen Doherty, Robin Thicke and Gerard Butler are just a few of the celebrities whose homes have been destroyed by the fires.
Instead of feeling sorry for themselves, some celebrities are sharing their wealth and trying to lift the spirits of others who have been forced to evacuate and who may not have homes to return to.
One celebrity in particular is Lady Gaga. She was forced to evacuate, but she’s staying positive and doing good deeds for other evacuees. Yesterday, in her Instagram stories, Gaga shared a video saying, “I’m on my way now to a shelter in California to be with people who have evacuated their homes. It’s one of my acts of kindness for today, and I encourage you to do the same.”

Gaga later posted a picture of herself carrying 11 boxes of pizza into the shelter. The text on the picture reads “fresh hot pizza, coffee and gift cards for the shelter.”
She also posed in a picture with the Red Cross, and text on another one of her pictures reads, “Thank you to the Red Cross for all you are doing to provide shelter, love, and mental health support to the people of California.”
This wasn’t the first time Gaga shared kindness to fire evacuees. On Sunday, she visited an evacuation center at Pacific Palisades High School and told the crowd, “This is not easy. I know this is not easy. And I know that a lot of you are feeling a lot of pain right now, and a lot of shock, and this might feel very surreal. I extend my love to each and every one of you. I know we do not know each other, but I love you.”
Gaga isn’t the only celebrity who is giving back. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are donating $500,000 to Malibu relief. This cause hits home for them (literally) because they lost their home in the fire. Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian and Alyssa Milano, who were both forced to evacuate, have been donating food and water to the firefighters.
