Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have legally tied the knot—again! The two wed at the downtown courthouse in Santa Barbara, California, just one month after they had a private wedding ceremony in Las Vegas, just without a marriage license.

The two, who got engaged in October 2021, and spent their first (impromptu) vow exchange on April 4 drunk off tequila in Sin City. “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license),” she captioned an album of photos to her Instagram.

However, due to the lack of marriage license, they couldn’t officially call themselves husband and wife—until now.

For the post-Vegas, now legal nuptials, the ceremony was among a small number of people and afterwards, the two drove off in a vintage black convertible trailing a ‘just married’ sign. Kardashian donned a short white dress with a red heart and a very traditional veil over her pulled-back hair. Barker looked dapper in his black tuxedo. After the ceremony, the two celebrated with Kardashian’s grandmother at a restaurant in Montecito.

The ceremony lacked family, but for good reason: It’s just one more ceremony before their big Italian wedding, one source mentioned.

“They had to legally get married first ahead of their big Italian wedding, which is happening very soon,” a source told People. “All the details are set and the whole family, including all the kids, are very excited.”

As Kardashian said, “practice makes perfect!”

However, the details of that upcoming wedding are under wraps. Kris Jenne said she was “sworn to secrecy” regarding any of the wedding details. “If I say one thing about a wedding, I am gonna be in so much trouble!” she told PEOPLE.

The two have also been trying to have a baby, though both already have children from previous marraiges. Kardashian shares sons Mason, 12, and Reign, 7, and daughter Penelope, 9, with ex Scott Disick. Barker shares son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. He also has a 23-year-old stepdaughter Atiana, whom Moakler, 47, shares with Oscar De La Hoya.
