The limited edition Misty Blue color has been made in a 5-Quart Stand Mixer, as well as a 6-burner commercial range, both of which you can purchase on KitchenAid.com. There are two styles to choose from: One with a ceramic bowl that has a flex edge beater (retailing for $649.99), and one that has a white-coated stainless steel bowl ($519.99).

Pricy for a reason: They both include the special, 100-year anniversary KitchenAid® logo, as well as a custom Power Hub cover celebrating KitchenAid’s centennial. So if you’re a true Kitchen Aid fan, then you’ll definitely want to get your hands on one of these models.

“Our global design team studied all of the brand’s historical logos and took design cues from them to develop this unique KitchenAid logo, only found on this 100 Year Limited Edition Stand Mixer,” a representative from KitchenAid said.

So why “Misty Blue” for the color to celebrate 100 years? The soft blue-green color is actually a tribute to one of the very first Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer colors.

“Misty Blue brings back a classic style that will spark nostalgia across generations, while also continuing to feed inspiration in the kitchen,” said Nikki Lockett, the U.S. Marketing Leader for KitchenAid Small Appliances. “This launch not only commemorates the brand’s past – but it also celebrates all the passionate home cooks who have inspired our innovation for the last 100 years.”
