Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean your kitchen is doomed to be in a total state of disarray forever, you simply have to have a cleaning routine to try and keep up with the constant mess. Clean My Space has a daily kitchen cleaning routine that I personally swear by and that we think you’re going to love!

This kitchen cleaning routine is so simple – it only takes about 10 minutes of your day to finish and it keeps your kitchen much more manageable. Let’s break down this handy routine into easy-to-follow steps.

Step 1: Unload your dishwasher. It should be filled with last night’s dishes and emptied to make way for a new day of dirty plates and cups.
Step 2: Wipe down your counter and table after breakfast. Wipe down the sink and put any dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
Step 3: When everyone gets home from work and school, make sure all garbage is thrown away and all containers are cleaned.
Step 4: After dinner, fill the dishwasher and run it over night.
Step 5: Wipe down counters post-dinner and spot check on appliances or cabinets.
Step 6: Take out garbage and replace bag.
Step 7: To finish up, fix dish towels, refill paper towels, or sweep the floor for those finishing touches.

Don’t feel like you need to do ALL of these things EVERY day, but try to do a little something in the kitchen every day to keep up with the chaos!
