Kate Middleton’s Family Breaks Silence Following Harry and Meghan’s Oprah Interview

Piers Morgan walked away from his morning TV show hosting job after a getting blasted for saying that he doesn’t believe anything Meghan Markle says. He was referring to the shocking claims she made during her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. It turns out, Morgan isn’t the only one who feels that way.

While the Queen’s official stance may be that “recollections may vary,” the royals have stated that they are not going to discuss private conversations with the media. Instead, they will work out things privately.

The royals may not be talking, but that doesn’t mean that non-royal relatives don’t have something to say. Kate Middleton’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, has come forward to stand up for his niece. He is specially defending her against Meghan’s statement that Kate made her cry. Gary told The Mail on Sunday, “If anyone had a hissy fit, it must have been Meghan. Kate would have been trying to make the peace. I would fight for Kate’s honour until the day I die. She is the most spectacular person I’ve ever met.”

He went on to say that he thinks Meghan was just using her acting skills during the Oprah interview. “I don’t blame Meghan – she’s a Hollywood starlet. You can’t blame a tiger for biting the head off a sheep. But I don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth. She’s an actress and knows how to manipulate her audience.”

According to Meghan, she has proof of everything she said during the interview, yet Meghan and Harry have already admitted that one thing they said was misleading. Meghan told Oprah that she married Harry in their backyard 3 days before the televised wedding, yet, it turned out the televised wedding was actually the real, official wedding after all and not the private ceremony that Meghan described.

Although Kate’s uncle is jumping to her defense, it’s important to remember that he was not in the room with Meghan and Kate when one of them made the other one cry. Only the two duchesses and anyone else who was with them know what really happened.

Do you think Meghan made Kate cry, or do you think Kate made Meghan cry? Do you think Meghan was just acting during the Oprah interview? If so, why would Harry go along with it? Do you think Kate will ever way in on the crying incident?
