“Jeopardy!” has officially ended its search for a new host to replace the late Alex Trebek. After months of auditioning one potential host after another by letting the candidates guest host the show for a week or two, Sony has finally chosen two hosts to fill Trebek’s shoes.

The new host of the daily show “Jeopardy!” is Mike Richards, one of the show’s Executive Producers. Meanwhile, “Big Bang Theory” star Mayim Bialik will host “Jeopardy!” specials and primetime episodes.

The saying goes that you can’t please everyone, and many “Jeopardy!” fans have been quite vocal about the fact that they are unhappy with Sony’s decision. Watch the video below for more details.

LeVar Burton seems to be the fan favorite. He originally wasn’t set to guest host the show, but fans started a Change.org petition to get him the guest hosting gig. His supporters are very disappointed that he didn’t get the job.

Fans seem more okay with Bialik as the new host and less okay with Richards. Since he is the show’s Executive Producer they feel that he gave himself the job.

Yet, Richards claims the final decision was not his to make. Sony made the decision about who the new hosts would be.
