Hoda Kotb interviewed Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda about the rerelease of their song “Love Make the World Go Round.” Five years ago, the duo performed the song on TODAY, and it was actually Miranda’s very first time on the show. A lot has changed in 5 years, but Miranda thinks he hasn’t changed.

Has Lopez changed? According to Kotb, “She looks happier.” The singer has been spotted with ex Ben Affleck multiple times over the past few months. It started with secret visits to Lopez’s house after her breakup with Alex Rodriguez. Then they were seen vacationing and even taking their kids to theme parks.

Kotb tried as hard as she could to get Lopez to talk about her relationship with Affleck. She eased into the conversation by saying, “I just have to tell you that every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I’m like, ‘She looks happier. She looks happier.’ Are we happier?” Watch the video below to hear Lopez’s response to Kotb’s question.

Lopez’s fans seem to think she did the right thing by refusing to talk about her relationship with Affleck. Several fans tweeted that they’re proud of her for keeping her private life private.

Jennifer looked slightly annoyed when Hoda asked her about Ben. She’s obviously learned from the past. She’s choosing to keep things close to the vest. Good for her. She does look incredibly happy. Hopefully things work out for her & Ben this time around.
