Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. Why? The two are engaged! The lovebirds shared the announcement on Instagram.

JLo and Rodriguez have been away enjoying a tropical vacation and we’re guessing from the gorgeous sunset backdrop that he proposed during the trip. They both shared the same photo which shows them holding hands and Lopez’s square-cut diamond. Amore!

This past February, the couple celebrated being together for two years. Each has two children from previous marriages and have been very open about how much they enjoy being a blended family – even spending holidays together with the exes.

This would mark the fifth publicly known engagement for the 49-year-old dancer/actress/singer and her fourth marriage, and A-Rod, 43, has been married once before. Lopez recently said in an interview that although she has been married before, she would not rule out doing it again. And so it is.

You can catch these two on social media posting lovey-dovey messages to one another all the time, but they have made it clear they are on the same page when it comes to their kids and taking care of family. Heart emojis are everywhere!
