There are some celebrities who don’t seem to age. In some cases, they look even more amazing as the years go by, and we can’t help but wonder how they do it. Jennifer Lopez is one of those people.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wonder how Lopez stays in such amazing shape. She has shared some of her secrets and so have her trainer and her personal chef.

Scroll down to discover 7 eating habits that Lopez swears by. They’re surprisingly easy to replicate too.

  1. A Smoothie Every Morning

This isn’t just any smoothie. There is a very specific recipe that Lopez swears by. Thankfully, we know what it is. Here’s what goes into Lopez’s morning smoothie: 1 scoop of BodyLab TastyShake, 3/4 cup strawberries, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tbsp. honey, 1/4 tsp. fresh lemon juice, and 1/4 cup ice cubes.

  2. A Cookie Or 2 At Night

When she needs to be, Lopez can be very strict with her diet. For example, she went carb-free before her appearance on the Super Bowl, but that doesn’t mean that she completely deprives herself. Cookies are her weakness, and she allows herself to have one or two when she’s craving them. On The View, she even said that she has a favorite cookie recipe that she calls “J-dough.”

  3. Lots of Protein, Especially Fish

According to Lopez’s personal chef, Kelvin Fernandez, Lopez loves fish with one exception. She doesn’t like salmon. He told US, “I know Jennifer doesn’t love salmon, so if I’m cooking salmon for the [table], I always got to do a sea bass or a halibut or cod for Jennifer because she’s just not a fan of the texture and the taste of salmon.” In addition to fish, Lopez also likes egg whites, chicken, turkey and grass-fed beef; however, she only eats meat about 3 or 4 times a week. On other days, she gets protein from sources like nuts and plants.

  4. Lots of Veggies

According to one of Lopez’s personal trainers, Dodd Romero, she always has lots of vegetables on her plate. He told US that her favorite veggies include kale, spinach and broccoli. She tries to stay away from veggies that contain a lot of carbs, such as corn and carrots.

  5. Lots of Water

Besides her morning smoothie, Lopez also enjoys a glass of lemon water every morning. According to Romero, she drinks at least 7 glasses of water every day.

  6. Sometimes Cutting Out Carbs

When it’s really important, Lopez cuts out carbs including sugar. One example is before her Super Bowl appearance. She stuck to a strict diet of protein and veggies to get in shape.

  7. A Stocked Fridge

A refrigerator and pantry that are stocked full of healthy foods makes it easier to make healthy choices. Some of the things Lopez always has on hand are eggs, turkey bacon, spinach, cucumbers, sparkling water, and strawberries because her kids like berries.
