Everyone appreciates a good throwback, and this time of year conjures up memories of classic Christmas movies. Although technically not a huge oldie, Home Alone is definitely a pop culture goodie.

Google is capitalizing on that feeling of nostalgia with a new ad for their Google Assistant device by enlisting Macaulay Culkin. Reprising his role as Kevin McCallister, – this time as a grownup – Culkin recreates several of movie’s most famous scenes.

But this time, Google Assistant is there to help guide him. On the agenda for his day? “House to yourself” is what she answers. The ad playfully references the iconic aftershave scene and Kevin’s affinity for jumping on the bed.

Google is promoting all the things the Assistant can do by just uttering few words including ordering food, shopping for necessities, and setting up calendar reminders. For a limited time, the company is stretching out the Home Alone fun by programming the Assistant with a few Home Alone Easter eggs.
