Samantha Davis and Warwick Davis first met back in 1998 on the set of the film “Willow.” Three years later, they got married.

Sadly, now Warwick is mourning the death of his late wife. According to a statement shared with the BBC, she died on March 24, 2024 at the age of 53 years old. She is survived by her husband and their two children, Harrison and Annabelle.

Samantha founded the dwarfism charity Little People UK. She was also an actress. According to IMDB, her most recent acting credit was “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” in 2011 in which she acted alongside her husband.

Warwick is also an actor. He is best known for his work in the “Harry Potter” films and the “Star Wars” films. He acted in all 8 Harry Potter films, playing the roles of Professor Flitwick and a goblin called Griphook.

In a tribute to his late wife, Warwick shared, “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family.” He also called her his “favourite human,” and added, “I miss her hugs.”

Warwick credited his late wife with making him feel like anything was possible. He explained, “It was like having a super-power.” He also shared some the qualities he loved about her most. He said, “”She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes.”

The couple’s children also shared tributes to their late mother. They shared, “Mum is our best friend and we’re honoured to have received a love like hers.”

A cause of death has not been publicly released, but in recent years, Warwick shared that his wife was having problems with her mobility; however,  she was “determined that it would not impact her quality of life.”
