We’ve all heard of Christmas in July—aka celebrating Christmas in the heat of summer. It’s an unofficial holiday created by the Hallmark Channel, which plays a bunch of Christmas movies all month long to get us in the jolly spirit.

That said, Hallmark certainly knows a thing or two about making spirits bright. And now, they’re adding even more to the joy with a special new launch.

In addition to currently airing a marathon of Christmas movies, the channel, in partnership with Wines That Rock, is planning to introduce a new unique line of Christmas-themed wines. That’s right, Christmas wines! It’s the perfect pairing to your favorite Hallmark flick.

When we think of happiness, we think of two things: Christmas and wine. So this launch couldn’t speak our language more.

The wines, which you can preorder now, come in two Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. Here are the descriptions, according to its website:

1. Jingle

“Jingle’s 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon glistens a warm ruby color with aromas of dark chocolate, cherry, and a hint of holiday spice. It is rich, merry, and fully textured with profound dark fruit.”

2. Joy

“Jingle’s 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon glistens a warm ruby color with aromas of dark chocolate, cherry, and a hint of holiday spice. It is rich, merry, and fully textured with profound dark fruit.”

Man, if those descriptions don’t put you in the holiday spirit (and the drinking spirit), we don’t know what will.

You can preorder your Hallmark Channel wines here, choosing from a slew of variety packs, from two-packs all the way up to 12-packs. You’ll receive your wines in October 2020, about two months in advance of Christmas!

“Featuring two exclusive varietals that can be found nowhere else, our Hallmark Channel Wines collection is an exciting new extension of our brand and is designed to enhance our viewers’ enjoyment of the holidays—whether as an accompaniment to our signature movies, an offering at family gatherings, or a unique gift for Hallmark Channel fans,” said Danielle Mullin, SVP, Marketing, Crown Media Family Networks.

Not sure how they’ll taste? Don’t worry—a wine expert from Wines That Rock chimed in with her glowing review: “This unique Hallmark Channel Wine Collection really delivers on taste, value, and most importantly – some holiday cheer,” Winemaker Andrew Nelson said. “Hallmark Channel has inspired our winemaking team to create a delicious holiday-themed collection that embodies Hallmark Channel’s passion for celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed bringing these wines to life.”

We can’t wait to try these wines! What do you think of this festive line of Christmas wines? Will you be preordering these, whether for yourself or to get ahead on holiday gift shopping?
