Grilled Peaches & Cake

Having a romantic and delicious dinner for two doesn’t have to mean going out to an expensive restaurant or slaving away in a hot kitchen all day. All you really need? A grill! Seriously. Learn how to make a Grilled Peaches and Cake Dessert for Two!

Ingredients
1 Yellow Peach, halved and pitted
1/4 Lb. Pound Cake, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
1 Tbs. Butter, melted
2 Tbs. Honey
1 Tbs. Orange Liquor
Directions
Preheat grill to medium-high heat and clean grill grates. Brush the slices of pound cake and the cut-sides of the peaches with the melted butter.
In a small bowl, combine the honey and orange liquor. Set aside.
Grill the pound cake slices and cut peaches, butter-side down, until golden and lightly marked. Flip, brush the peaches with honey glaze, and cook remaining sides until golden and lightly marked.
Serve 2 slices of pound cake with half the grilled peaches, and top with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
