If you’ve ever been to a wedding, you know that some of the most memorable parts of the big day are when something unexpected happens (so long as it’s nothing tragic, like the cake toppling over or some runaway bride action happening).

Everyone always tells you that you can’t predict your wedding day, and they just may be right. In the case of one couple, there was an unexpected moment that was truly one of the books—and one for the giggles.

We’ve seen our fair share of funny wedding videos—like this little tyke showing off some impressive moves on the dance floor, for example. But we’ve never seen something like this.

At this wedding, for no apparent reason at all, smack dab in the middle of the ceremony, the best man’s pants fall down in front of all the weddings guests.

Let’s reiterate: we’ve got pants down, boxers out, for the entire ceremony—which was held in a church, mind you—to see. It might’ve been embarrassing for the person it happened to, but it sure was funny for everyone else.

 

The best man quickly pulls his trousers up, but not fast enough before everyone in attendance, including the bride, groom, and the entire wedding party, erupts into hysterics. Even the priest marrying them makes a crack at their “happy and joyful wedding.”

And honestly? We’re not even sure if the best man was that embarrassed. While he’s seen hiding his face a bit and wiping some sweat off his forehead, he too starts giggling (and probably thinking, “what the heck just happened?). After the incident, everyone at the church attempts to hold it together, but just can’t.

It’s one of those moments that keeps replaying in your head over and over, even when you know you shouldn’t be laughing anymore.

Finally, the bride attempts to say her vows and put her wedding ring on her husband-to-be’s finger, but she too can’t stop giggling. Her husband is in just as much stitches as she is, laughing every few words she repeats.

We’ll give you a preview: “I give you this ring…” *Starts giggling* “…As a sign of my love and fidelity” *Doubles over in laughter.* We think we even heard some snort laughs going on in there.

Perhaps the best part of all is how the person filming the video can’t stop laughing himself. “That’s classic,” he says after the pants fall down, continuing the burst out laughing every few seconds throughout the over 3-minute video. “Okay, okay, all right, all right,” he keeps repeating to maintain himself, as if that’s going to calm him down.

Major fail—he keeps on going. He also has one of those super contagious laughs that’s bound to leave yourself wondering why you too can’t stop chuckling.

They say your wedding day is the happiest day of your life—and this couple certainly can’t stop grinning.
