You’ve Been Folding Towels Wrong All These Years.

There are few things as gratifying than picking up a correctly folded clean towel. Maybe the only thing better than that feeling? Folding that towel perfectly yourself. But, let’s be honest, this is easier said than done. A “correctly” folded towel isn’t a towel shoved into any square-shape you please. It requires actual technique. If you’re looking for a real, department-store-ready fold, you’ll want to check out Alejandra’s technique. Watch the video below to get a step-by-step tutorial on how to perfectly fold full-sized towels, face towels, and hand towels. Three for the price of one.

If you’re thinking something along the lines of, “I want perfectly folded towels, but ain’t nobody got time for that”, you’re about to be pleasantly surprised. This technique is simple to learn, only takes a second to do, and results in the neatest towels you’ve ever seen.

You are on your way to a magazine-worthy bathroom.

FOLD A HAND TOWEL

STEP 1: Fold your towel into thirds across, so it’s vertical.
STEP 2: Fold it into thirds downwards.

FOLD A FACE TOWEL

STEP 1: Fold your towel into thirds across, so it’s vertical.
STEP 2: Fold in half to finish.

FOLD A FULL-SIZED TOWEL

STEP 1: Fold in half, hamburger style.
STEP 2: Fold the towel into thirds.
STEP 3: Fold in half to get that lovely fold.

Simple, right? It takes as much time to do this and get a lovely folded towel as it does to fold a towel a million times over and get a messy towel ball.
