You’ll Need

Chips
– ¾ inch to 1 inch (2 centimeters to 3 centimeters) cut and peeled Maris Piper potatoes
– Sunflower oil
Peas
– 1 bowl frozen peas
– Butter
– Handful fresh mint
Fish
– Pollock fish fillets
– 1 ⅓ cups + 1 tablespoon (200 grams) flour
– Salt, to taste
– 1 cup + 2 teaspoons (250 milliliters) your favorite beer
Tartare Sauce
– 1 ¼ cups (300 grams) mayonnaise
– 2 hardboiled eggs
– 1 ¾ ounces (50 grams) capers
– Handful fresh fennel tops (My Virgin Kitchen recommends dill)
– 1 shallot, finely diced
– Juice of half a lemon (about 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons)
