When late August to early September comes rolling back around, every parent can’t help but think one thing at one point or another: MY KIDS ARE GOING BACK TO SCHOOL. You might feel guilty about being so excited – you love your kids after all, and you love spending time with them. But after almost three months of entertaining your children in the sweltering summer heat, any parent can confess they’re ready for school to start back up again. Whether you’ve been begging them to go back since June or you’re trying to be covert about it, every parent can relate to this hilarious woman. When her son is going off to his first day of school, this woman is bidding her son goodbye…and doing a little dance to celebrate her new found free time. Watch her break it down in the video below!

Honestly, is this woman not what’s going on your head as you watch that school bus drive away? She’s like your spirit animal for the months of September through May.

At first, this mom is just step-touching to the song “Happy” (a pretty solid choice, if we do say so), obviously anxious to see her son get on the bus safely. Then, we suddenly see a little boy run in and out of the frame, presumably toward the bus that we can hear idling in the background. Mom waves goodbye and then the most perfect timing happens.

As she turns around to the camera to start her dance, the school bus drives away behind her, just as the song breaks out into the verse! What a perfect frame.

The bus drives out of sight, and the mom really starts to get into her little dance – and she’s got some good moves! We’re particularly big fans of her little cha-cha step.
