Oh man, can you imagine the look on your kids’ faces when they bite into these cupcakes to find the surprise candy center? These cupcakes, courtesy of Somewhat Simple are the perfect dessert for any party, but we think they’re especially great for Cinco de Mayo!

What You Need:

-Funfetti cake mix (with ingredient from back of box)
-Vanilla frosting
-Sprinkles
-Mini chocolate candies (like M&Ms)

What You Do:

1. Bake your cupcakes according to directions on the back of the box (or make your own cupcakes using your favorite cupcake recipe!) Allow them to cool completely.
2. Use a small knife to cut holes in the centers or each cupcake. Set cut-out portions aside.
3. Fill the insides of your cupcakes with M&Ms (or other desired candies).
4. Cut off half of the removed portion of the cupcakes and replace over candies in cupcakes.
5. Frost as usual and garnish with sprinkles.
