Exciting New TV Service Offers ESPN (and Other Favorite Channels) for $20
A new kind of internet TV is just around the corner. And while it isn’t available just yet, it’s causing a lot of talk and excitement. It’s called Sling TV, and it’s being called “Dish’s grand experiment.” And if it sounds like a good fit for you, you could be looking at paying much less for cable in the near future.
But what is Sling TV? For $20 a month — yes, twenty dollars — you get access to a lineup of cable networks that includes TNT, TBS, CNN, Food Network, HGTV, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, the Disney Channel, ESPN, and ESPN2. ESPN is obviously a huge get for Dish and could earn Sling TV plenty of customers all on its own.
The best part about Sling TV? There are no commitments or contracts that you’re bound to. You can buy it for a month and cancel the next month if you’d like to. And since it’s an internet TV service, you can watch it pretty much anywhere. You can tune in from your Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick, from LG Smart TVs, from Roku TVs, from Xbox’s and, of course, from computers.
If you’re looking to pay less for cable but keep the channels you love, Sling TV might be a great low-cost addition to your Netflix or Hulu subscription. And if you watch nothing but sports, this option seems like a no brainer for you.
