Easy Trick for Upgrading Water on the Cheap

This quick tip comes from Swiss Miss via Lifehacker. Adding a slice of lemon to your water is great way to add some flavor on the cheap. However, especially if you’re making a pitcher of lemon water, the lemon slices need to be emptied quickly or the water will start to get a bitter taste. Try this trick instead:

Try freezing lemon slices in ice using a cupcake pan for large, lemony ice cubes that will add flavor to your water or other drinks. Using a cupcake baking sheet lets you get entire slices of lemon in your ice cubes, and freezes them large enough that they’ll work in a glass of water or a pitcher of it, depending on what you make.
