Easiest Ever Peanut Butter Cookies (All Natural!)

These peanut butter cookies are the easiest things you could ever make. These cookies are only four ingredients (you could get away with only using the peanut butter and maple even) and packed full of tons of healthy protein and a fraction of the sugar and simple carbohydrates found in traditional cookies. I love peanut butter. Simply cannot get enough. Sometimes, sorry to say, I count spoonfuls of the stuff as a breakfast on its own. These awesome cookies take the breakfast idea a step further and add sticky sweet maple syrup to the party. And I do mean party because once you try these little wonders you’re gonna want to dance a little victory dance of flavor.

1 cup unsalted natural peanut butter

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 tablespoon vanilla extract (optional)

1 teaspoon salt (optional)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor or mixing bowl combine all of the ingredients and mix very well. The dough will start to thicken. Once it is all combined and there is no more liquid sloshing about you are ready to form your cookies. Scoop out the dough using the tablespoon measure. Roll the cookies into a ball and flatten them in your hands before placing them on the baking tray. Press down on them gently with a fork to decorate the tops if desired (this is cute but not necessary.)
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are set. Cool before serving.
