Dollar Store Craft: Fun Kitchen Wall Art
If your kitchen walls are a little bare, spruce them up with this great Dollar Store idea. Just grab some cheap cutlery and an old frame and you’re on your way to adorable kitchen wall art. Crap I’ve Made shows you how it’s done:
Here’s what you need:
-Frames
-Sliverware
-Spray paint
-Fabric
-Batting
-Hot glue
And here’s what you do:
- Take apart your frames, removing the glass backing. Then spray paint the frames, and your silverware, whatever color you’d like.
- Cut out a piece of backing that’s the same size as the backing of your frame. Then cut a piece of fabric that is a bit larger than the backing piece. Glue the edges of your fabric to your backing. Then put the fabric covered backing into the frame.
- Position the silverware, then glue it in place with hot glue.
- Let dry, then display your artwork!
Editor’s note: we could see doing this also by framing an extra placemat or two. Just cut to the appropriate size to fit whatever frame you’re using.
