1. DIY Beach Tote

If you’re a parent, you know that trying to get all your kids’ toys PLUS all your beach essentials down to the shore is a major pain. Rather than carrying a million bags, try this simple, cheap trick.

Pick up a $1, pop-up hamper from the Dollar store. Stick all of your beach toys inside for easy carrying, but the mesh of the hamper also makes for easy cleaning. You can clean your toys in the ocean INSIDE the hamper and allow all the water to leak out like a strainer. Or you can just shake the sand out and bring your toys back to the car without all the sand, too!

2. Easy Picnic Caddy

Summertime picnics are a blast, but getting all of your fixings outside can be a chore. Whether you’re driving down to the park or just grilling in the backyard, there’s an inexpensive way to tote around everything you’ll need.

All you need are those cheap cake carriers you’ll find at any Dollar Store. Guess what? These aren’t just for keeping your cakes fresh anymore.

You can use these cake carriers to get your food, toppings, silverware, plates, napkins, and anything else you’ll need from Point A to Point B. There’s no mess, no trying to balance a million things in your arms, and this tip will get you to your burger faster.
