4-Year-Old Wanted to Dance to “Frozen,” So Dad Put On the Dress

When Frozen came out in 2013, Disney had a hit on its hands and a song that will forever be etched in our minds. Let It Go, the signature anthem from the movie, was – and still is – a contagious jam for kids and grownups alike.

Here it is 2019 and the popularity hasn’t really died down. Toddlers still dig the movie and at any given time you can find some cute kid online belting out the lyrics to Let It Go. As a matter of fact, we present to you a 4-year-old boy named Dexter who is getting down to the tune with his dad, Ørjan Burøe.

Burøe shared that Dexter thinks Elsa “is a superhero” and wanted to boogie to the Frozen soundtrack. The Norwegian duo were spending some quality time together and decided to don Princess Elsa costumes for a dance party in their living room.

Like many parents, this dad enjoys playing around with his child but really wanted to embrace the meaning of the song by letting it all go. Burøe, who is a comedian, wanted to showcase something positive on social media.

He told CBS News that he bought the costumes on eBay as Frozen is one of his son’s favorites right now. Parents, I think we can all relate to that!

When was the last time you heard Let It Go? Whether it’s been too long or not, check out this video to see this father and son bust a move. Then you can count down until the Frozen sequel drops in November!
