Creative Uses of Wine Corks
Do you have a supply of wine corks that you haven’t thrown away because you’re hoping to use them in some way? Love to Know has some great, crafty tips for you. Check out the ways you can use a wine cork, other than sealing a bottle of wine.
- Scratch Prevention Pads for Bottom of Furniture: cut corks and attach them to the bottoms of your furniture to prevent them from scratching floors in your home.
- Fishing Bobber: drill a hole through the middle of your cork and attach a piece of doweling. Let the doweling hang a bit over the top and bottom of the cork and make a knot.
- Pin Cushion: use glue or straightened paper clips to attach four wine corks together. You can then use it as a pin cushion for pins, needles and thumbtacks.
