What happens when you play live music for cows? That’s what Cleveland-based musicians Amy Lee, Frank Rosenwein, and Joanna & Mike Zakany decided to find out when they played some of their music for cows Kayli, Maybelle, Mike and Maribeth. With two violins, an oboe, and a guitar, the musicians set out to see if they couldn’t brighten some bovine days. The results of their impromptu ensemble? You’ll have to watch the video below to see the results for yourself!

It’s crazy to think, although we hear music probably every day of our lives in one way or another, that animals such as these cows have probably never heard music before! At the very least, they’ve never heard live music played before – let alone played for them.

This was a sweet and interesting musical experiment!
