The next time you eat an orange or a grapefruit, don’t immediately toss those peels into the garbage! All-purpose cleaning sprays are great, they can take care of anything from a dirty sink to a messy stove top, but they do have one downside – the smell. Unless you like that cleaner smell, in which case, carry on. But if the smell of cleaning products bothers you, that’s where citrus peels come in handy. YOU’LL NEED
– Citrus peels
– Cinnamon
– Lavender
– Rosemary
– Glass jar
– Spray top
– 1 jar of distilled white vinegar
– Funnel
– Wire mesh strainer

STEP 1: Put your citrus peels in your jar in your favorite pairings.
STEP 2: When almost full, fill the jar with vinegar and screw on the lid. Attach a tag with the date and ingredients and let sit for 2-4 weeks.
STEP 3: Fill vinegar bottle halfway with filtered water. Use the funnel and strainer to pour the vinegar mixture into the jar. Screw on the spray nozzle and make your home smell amazing.
