Candace Cameron Bure Responds to Backlash After She Posts “Inappropriate” Photo With Husband
Besides a lifetime of success as an actress, Candace also has an amazing family. She has been married to her husband, Val Bure, for 24 years, and they have three children.
Candace regularly posts fun photos of her life on Instagram. Some are of her family. Some are on set. They all seem pretty positive and happy.
Instagram users know that you also have the ability to post photos on your Instagram stories which will automatically disappear after 24 hours. Recently, Candace posted a photo in her stories that shocked some of her fans.
In the photo, Candace is posing with her husband looking at the camera. Val doesn’t often like to be in photos, but she added the text over the photo writing “classic Val” and “*he approved this post.”
What’s so scandalous about the photo? Val has his arm around his wife, his hand resting on/squeezing her breast. Remember, they have been happily married for 24 years.
The photo is also posted on Candace’s regular Instagram if you swipe right. As she captioned the series of photos “sweet and spicy.”
While some of Candace’s followers laughed at the photo, others thought it was inappropriate. Candace defended the picture in a series of videos. She said, “For all of you Christians that are questioning my post with my husband’s hand on my boob—my husband of 24 years—thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it’s my husband, we have so much fun together. He can touch me anytime he wants, and I hope he does. This is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about.”
Candace is not sorry for the photo. She added, “I’m sorry if it offended you … I’m actually not sorry. I’m glad we have fun together after so many years. He can touch me all day long.”
