Good news for all of you AM fast food lovers: Burger King is now offering a coffee subscription service that gives subscribers a piping-hot cup of joe every single morning, for only 5 bucks a month (that’s 17 cents per day!). The incredible news was just announced on March 15th and is currently available to the most die-hard BK coffee fans.

In an official statement, Chris Finazzo, Burger King’s president for North America, revealed that the fast food chain’s inspiration to launch the one-of-a-kind program was all to meet the financial, high-tech, and caffeine-related interests of its customers.

“We continue to leverage technology to enhance our guests experience in our restaurants,” Finazzo said in a statement. “We are proud to launch our own subscription service where guests can now enjoy a hot cup of coffee every day for just $5 a month.”

As you can see by Burger King’s Instagram coffee-inspired campaign, it’s clear that the chain is all about reminding its guests that it, too, provides some pretty beautiful caffeinated drinks.

How the BK Cafe Subscription works

While the fancier coffee drinks pictured in the above Instagram post might look delicious, sadly (but unsurprisingly), they are not part of the BK Cafe Subscription. Currently, Burger King is only including small hot coffees in its $5/month program, so if you are craving something a bit sweeter and much more calorie-heavy, you’ll have to pay out-of-pocket.

In terms of sign-up, all you need to do is download the Burger King App and provide your payment details. Each month, the company will automatically bill you the $5. Whenever you grab your cup of morning goodness, all you have to do is show your app, and you are good to go!

According to information gathered from The Takeout, though this program might seem a bit showy, it is one that is here to stay; in fact, a Burger King representative confirmed that it has “no announced end date.”

Win-win, right? Well, not if you live outside of the continental United States. Unfortunately, Burger King coffee fans in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico cannot take advantage of this innovative new service. Bummer!
