A year ago, Britney Spears was fighting to end the conservatorship that controlled her life. She was monitored even in her bedroom at home. She was forced to work even when she was sick. She was lied to and believed that the conservatorship prevented her from getting married even though that was not the case. The worst part is that the conservatorship was controlled by her dad.

Now, the conservatorship is over, and Spears is free to make her own decisions. She doesn’t have to wonder what she can and cannot do. She can decide for herself.

Spears and long time boyfriend Sam Asghari got engaged in 2021. Since then, they have vacationed together, announced a pregnancy that ended in a pregnancy loss and hinted that they will be getting married in the near future. They did not officially announce a wedding date, but it looks like that date might actually be today.

The wedding is reportedly going to be small, and some of Spears’ family members will be missing from the event. Nobody would blame her for not inviting her dad.

TMZ first broke the news about the Spears’ wedding, which will reportedly take place in Los Angeles where a massive white tent has popped up most likely for privacy. PEOPLE reports that only about 60 people will be attending the wedding.
