One Company Will Pay 5 People Over $1,000 to Binge Watch All the Harry Potter Movies

If you’re a Harry Potter fan who is bored and stuck in quarantine, we’ve found something fun for you to do. Not only is it fun, but if chosen, it actually pays pretty well.

How would you like to watch all 8 Harry Potter movies plus the Fantastic Beasts movies? Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?

EDSmart actually wants to pay 5 lucky Harry Potter fans to watch these 10 films. As long as you’re 18, able to work in the United States and active on social media, you are the perfect candidate. This is seriously the ultimate dream job for any Harry Potter fan.

That’s right, this is a job. The 5 lucky fans chosen for this coveted position will each get paid $1000, plus they’ll receive some very cool bonuses like blu-rays of all the movies they’ll be watching and a Harry Potter survival kit that includes items like Harry Potter Butterbeer Caramel Corn & Containers, a Harry Potter Gryffindor snuggie and a $100 GrubHub gift card.

When you do the math, you would be “working” for about 25 hours, which means you’re being paid roughly $41.50 per hour. According to EDSmart, you will be asked to do a little more than simply watch the movies, but trust us, it’s super easy.

“If you’re hired, simply sit down in your favorite movie-watching location, watch the movies, grub, and post it on your social media platform or live stream.

Once the magical marathon, live-tweeting and live streaming, etc. are over, we’ll have you rank each movie and post it online.”

We already have our favorite movie-watching location picked out.

If you feel ready to take on this movie-watching challenge, head over to EDSmart to apply. Be ready to answer the following question: “What makes you the most qualified candidate to take on this dream job?”
