Betty White Discusses Her Own Death With Larry King

We really thought Betty White was going to live to be 100 years old, but the actress ended up dying just a couple weeks before her birthday. White died of natural causes at her home in Los Angeles, California, on New Year’s Eve. She was 99 years old.

White’s agent, Jeff Witjas, explained to PEOPLE, “Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever.” He added, “I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”

White was married to Ludden for 18 years before he passed away in 1981. He was 63 years old.

It’s true that death is a part of life. Nobody has been able to escape from death. Although we may not like to think about it, it is something we will all experience at one point.

White knew that she would not live forever, and she wasn’t afraid of dying. In fact, during an interview, she told Larry King that she’s “curious” about what happens after you die. White was known by many as being a very optimistic person, and even her view of death seems to be quite optimistic.

Watch the video below to hear King and White discuss death and to hear why White was so curious after the afterlife.

White now knows what really happens when you die. We hope she was not disappointed with her discovery.

What do you think happens when you die? Are you scared of death, or are you curious like White? Do you think White was reunited with Ludden in the afterlife?
