Melania Trump Reveals That Her Son Barron Contracted COVID-19

We all know that President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19. What is new news is that the couple’s youngest son, Barron Trump, also tested positive for COVID-19.

In an essay she wrote on the White House website, Melania Trump revealed details about her experience with the novel coronavirus. She started out by writing that after she and her husband tested positive, her first concern was for her son, Barron.

“Naturally my mind went immediately to our son. To our great relief he tested negative, but again, as so many parents have thought over the past several months, I couldn’t help but think ‘what about tomorrow or the next day?’. My fear came true when he was tested again and it came up positive. Luckily he is a strong teenager and exhibited no symptoms. In one way I was glad the three of us went through this at the same time so we could take care of one another and spend time together. He has since tested negative.”

Mrs. Trump went on to explain that her symptoms were minimal, and she was able to recover by taking “vitamins” and eating “healthy foods.” She praised the caretakers and medical professionals who helped her family as they battled the virus.

The President and First Lady now test negative for COVID-19. Towards the end of the First Lady’s personal essay, she wrote about what helped her stay positive through their illness.

For me personally, the most impactful part of my recovery was the opportunity to reflect on many things—family, friendships, my work, and staying true to who you are.”

She encourages all of us to stay healthy mentally and physically.

I encourage everyone to continue to live the healthiest life they can. A balanced diet, fresh air, and vitamins really are vital to keep our bodies healthy. For your complete well-being, compassion and humility are just as important in keeping our minds strong.”
