Amy Schumer Gets So Excited By Her Son Saying “Dad” That It Makes Him Cry
If you’re a parent, you know that kids grow and change practically right before your eyes, and each milestone is super special, especially when it’s your first child. Seeing a first step and hearing a first word feel super magical and are sometimes even more exciting for the parents than the babies.
Schumer’s most recent Instagram post about her son, Gene, is when he says the word “Dad” for the very first time. While this is not Gene’s very first word, it’s always special to hear “Dad.”
In the video, Gene is sitting in his highchair at the table. Schumer is sitting next to him, and she slowly and carefully asks him, “Say, Dad?”
Gene looks directly at the camera and very clearly says “Dad.” If it weren’t for Schumer’s reaction, we would never know that this is the first time he said that super special word.
Schumer can’t contain her excitement. In fact, she is so excited that Gene gets a little scared and starts crying from the attention. We hope that the excitement doesn’t deter him from saying “Dad” again in the near future.
