The year 2020 was definitely a difficult one, and many people found themselves canceling plans, taking up new hobbies and working from home. While some people used the pandemic as an opportunity to binge watch everything on Netflix and try new baked goods, other people were determined not to let a little thing like a pandemic get in the way of their health and fitness goals.

Alex Rodriguez got serious about losing the dad bod during the pandemic. He has always been athletic, but recently, he decided to kick things into high gear. While most of the buzz might be about his recent breakup from Jennifer Lopez, the latest news is his most recent post on Instagram.

In December 2020, Rodriguez was still rocking the dad bod. He is a dad after all, so no judgement. Instead of accepting his physique the way it was, he made some changes, and decided to show off his transformation in a side-by-side before and after photo. It’s amazing how much healthier he looks after just 4 months!

Rodriguez captioned the photo, “Left the Dad-bod in 2020. 💪🏽.Anyone else determined to stick with their fitness goals this year? I’ve been consistent with my workouts and finally put down the chips.”
