Influencer Why She Doesn’t Think “Walks” or “Coffee” Are Acceptable First Date Options in Controversial TikTok

Question: What’s your ideal first date? Most people would say something simple like trip to the local coffee shop or a nice walk in the park. But one TikToker Kornelija Slunjski thinks otherwise.

“I do not accept a coffee or a walk as a possible date option,” she said in her now controversial TikTok video, which was titled “NO to zero effort men.”

If you’re wondering why those options aren’t sufficient, she has her reasons, namely that she associates walks with dogs, and that she doesn’t need a coffee from anywhere but her home.

“First of all, I’m not a dog that needs to be walked. Second, I have a Nespresso machine at home–works fabulous,” Slunjski explained. “We’re not doing drinks either—you’re going to try to get me drunk and take me back home. No.”

Okay, so what IS the best date option for Slunjski? Check the video out below.

Ah, yes. Dinner! How silly of us. But what makes dinner so much better than the other two options?

Slunjski explained in the video that heading to dinner is a good way to really be able to see the person’s table manners. In fact, eating is something that you’re probably going to be doing with the person quite often if you do start dating them for the long haul, so it’s important to test the waters now.

“We’re going to see what you order,” she explained. “We’re going to see, do you hold your chopsticks correctly? We’re just going to…you know, study you a bit.”

The video was not met with much love. In fact, fellow TikTokers were not having this logic at all. Most people found it high maintenance or rude.

“That’s so rude and disrespectful,” someone wrote. “Not even to the men and their parents and also to the women who prefers coffee or walking over dinner.”

“You sound bitter and hurt, “ another retorted.

“I can’t imagine spending a few hours with someone this judgmental and insufferable,” another person wrote.

She had a few choice words to say to the haters. Check out her response video below!
