7 Unique and Delicious S’mores Recipes

To me, nothing says “perfect summer night” like toasting marshmallows around a campfire, passing the chocolate bars and graham crackers around, and creating ridiculously messy and tasty s’mores. However, your s’mores don’t have to be limited to the usual suspect ingredients. Take a look at some other ways to enjoy this summer treat:

Chocolate and Peanut Butter S’mores

All you need for this sinful delight is some room temperature peanut butter, crispy chocolate wafers, and of course, marshmallows.

Spread 1 tablespoon peanut butter (at room temperature, for easy spreading) onto a thin, crisp chocolate water (such as Nabisco Famous Chocolate Waters). Slide 1 skewer-toasted marshmallow onto peanut butter. Top with a second wafer and squish down gently. Eat, licking fingers.

Nutty Banana S’mores

Use graham crackers, a Reese’s peanut butter cup (or Nutella Spread), sliced banana and toasted marshmallow to compile this gooey chocolate treat with a fruity twist.

Strawberry and Chocolate S’mores

Here’s a great way to use seasonal fruit. You should be able to find strawberries on the cheap in most markets since they’re available in abundance throughout the summer. Just make a classic s’more, but add in strawberry slices and use dark chocolate to make the treat even more decadent.
