5 Ways to Save on Flooring

Consumer Reports puts flooring through numerous vigorous tests to find the best. They understand that it is quite and investment and you are better off going for quality that lasts. Here are some ways they found you can save on the cost.

Overstocks. Lumber Liquidators and iFloor are discount retailers that deal directly with the manufacturer and can provide substantial savings.

Slightly Imperfect. You might be able to get a percentage off of open boxes or slightly imperfect products.

Get Samples. Make sure that you see the product in your home before you buy anything. It could look great in a picture and then not work in your home at all.

Do the Prep Work. Save on labor by prepping the area yourself. Remove the old carpet, baseboards, etc. before the pros come in.
