Make a Memory Box
If you’re a saver of ticket stubs, programs and such, you could make a really nice and meaningful memory box for your dad! Just compile the memorabilia you have from events that you attended together and put them together in a decorative memory box. This project could be completely free in many ways; for example, the box could be a shoebox wrapped in magazine or newspaper (funnies section, anyone?).
Do the Jobs Dad Normally Has to Do
This may include washing the car(s), mowing the lawn, cleaning the gutters, doing the dishes, etc. Take all of his chores off of his chore list and give him the day (or weekend) off!
Have Your Kids Make a “Dad Book”
Here’s a great idea we found over at The Measured Mom. Create a book for dad with drawings by his children. The example above is a great starting place, but go crazy with creativity and personalization on this one.
