4 Creative Uses for School Supplies

All those back-to-school supplies that your kid has can actually help you out around the home at times. Take a look at some creative ideas from Mrs. Fixit:

Chalkboard Eraser

This can act as a great cleaning tool. Use it to gently buff away smudges and fingerprints from windows, mirrors and wood furniture. You’ll get rid of smudges and lint from your surfaces.

Crayons

You can use crayons to touch up scratches in wood. Just choose a crayon that matches the wood tone, heat it up a bit over a candle, and then rub the wax into the scratch. Buff the area with a soft cloth and blend the “new” area into the surrounding wood.
