In Southern California, You Can Get a Giant 20-Square-Foot Pizza Delivered to Your Home

What’s better than a delicious pizza pie oozing with cheese and sauce? A delicious pizza pie oozing with cheese and sauce…the size of your dining room. Duh.

In a world of Instagram-worthy foods, we’ve seen a lot. There’s tri-colored bagels and mermaid grilled cheese (cheese that’s been dyed colors of a unicorn), for starters. But we’ve never seen anything quite as beautiful and grand as this.

It’s (appropriately) called the Giant Sicilian, and it’s known as one of the world’s largest pizzas that’s able to be delivered to your home. You can find the enormous pizza at Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria in Southern California. Measuring a total of 20 square feet, the pizza comes in at 4.5 x 4.5 feet (or 54′ x 54′). And it’s freaking epic.

While you’d probably get a heck of a stomachache if you tried to eat the entire Giant Sicilian by yourself, it’s the perfect feast to have at a group gathering of pizza lovers. It’s able to feed 50-70 people (depending how hungry these people are), so if you’re in the area, definitely make sure you put it on your catering list for your next big bash.

The pizza is made using 20 pounds (pounds!) of pizza dough and five pounds of cheese. It comes cut into 200 square slices (so with a party of 50, everyone can have four slices—sounds about right!).

So what’s a pizza like this cost, anyway? Rates start at $299.99 for a regular plain cheese pizza. Toppings are an additional $19.99 each, but it’s totally worth it. For instance, when you get pepperoni, they add three pounds of it onto you pie!

Additionally, extra cheese will cost you another $34.99 (and before your jaw drops, think of how much cheese that is! It’s actually a bargain!). The only thing missing is a vat of ranch or blue cheese to dip in!

Though the Giant Sicilian is deliverable via car, there’s only a select area where delivery drivers are able to travel with a pizza that large, since it literally has to be delivered on top of the vehicle! So make sure to check the website if you’re in the deliverable area before trying to get it delivered.

We know what you’re thinking: What if I drunkenly order that thing one night and regret it immediately? Don’t worry—the shop needs at least 24 hours notice in advance to make it, so there’s no way you can order it in your spur of the moment drunken stupor (valid concern though).

Even if you’re not having a large group gathering, Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria has tons of delicious and unique-sounding pizzas. Their Mexican pizza, with pepperoni, jalapeno peppers, red onions, red peppers, and meatballs will certainly make your taste buds dance, or try their Godfather pizza, loaded up with chicken, mushrooms, basil, and sundried tomatoes. Holy yum!

But back to the monstrous Giant Sicilian: Honestly, have you ever seen anything more beautiful than this pie? Have you ever or would you ever order this pizza for a large group gathering?
