Mom Shares Brilliant Solutions for Your Most Common Stroller Problems

Having a baby and having a stroller go hand in hand. Sure, we love babywearing, but there are times when you want more than your hands free. You want to like, drink a large, double shot, wait, make that a triple shot, latte, and you can’t exactly do that while you have a baby strapped to you. At least, we would advise you not to.

So, you buy the stroller. You use the stroller. The baby rides peacefully, and then as the baby grows up and becomes a toddler, he or she still rides peacefully. Even when kids are old enough to walk, it can make a life a lot easier to have a safe place for your little one (or “ones” if you have a double stroller) to ride. The straps mean they can’t wander off, and not wandering off means you’re probably going to get where you’re going a lot faster with a lot less stress.

But, this stroller can be much more than a place for your kids to ride. If you know what you’re doing, you can use it to make your life so much easier in several more ways.

You can create DIY compartments for the kids bottles with a modified shoe organizer so that you can save the built-in cup holder (if you’re stroller model has one) for that large coffee we mentioned. Are we the only ones who sometimes need caffeine to make it through the day, especially when out and about with kids in tow?

You can also give yourself oodles of space to hang all of your shopping bags from the stroller. We know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that if you hang all your bags from the stroller that the stroller will become too heavy on one side and fall over, possibly when your little one is still in the stroller but definitely when you take your kiddo out of the stroller. No worries. There’s an easy solution for that too. You just need some ankle weights.

After you learn all of these amazing ways to maximize the use of your stroller, you’re probably going to use it more than ever which means it’s eventually going to show its age. While there isn’t exactly makeup for strollers there is a trick to revive the handlebars while adding a pop of color at the same time.

While you’re at it, you might as well give the entire stroller a makeover. It’s easier than you think to get your bigger kids to help you clean the stroller and to make the stroller show up during those nighttime outings.

These are just a few of the amazingly genius yet surprisingly simple stroller hacks that What’s Up Moms has to share with us. Watch the video below to see how to use your stroller like you never have before.
