William Daniels from ‘Boy Meets World’ Thwarted a Burglary Attempt on His Home

The actor who played the beloved advisor/principal Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World is in the news for thwarting a burglary at home. William Daniels, who is 91, was at home with his wife when an intruder tried to break in over the weekend.

No one was hurt, but the would-be burglar tried to kick in the back door. Upon hearing the noise, a fast-acting Daniels turned on the lights in his house, frightening the person away.

Police were able to respond quickly to Daniels’ San Fernando home but did not capture the suspect. At this time, they don’t believe this incident is related to a rash of celebrity home burglaries.

In a statement made through his spokesperson, he thanked fans for their concern and wanted to let everyone know they were okay.

Social media was flooded with comments such as, “Don’t mess with Mr. Feeny!” and some referring to the actor as a bad***. We agree with both sentiments.

Daniels played the role of Mr. Feeny for seven seasons on Boy Meets World and reprised his role as the popular character in several episodes of the reboot, Girl Meets World. To send you back in time even further, he is the actor behind the voice of KITT from the awesome show (yes, awesome) Knight Rider.

Fans of KITT can look forward to hearing Daniels revive that iconic character in a 2019 movie starring Melissa McCarthy.

Are you a fan of “Mr. Feeny”? Your thoughts on his Saturday night heroics?
