It’s hard to believe that it has been 10 years since Kate Middleton officially became part of the royal family. Ten years ago she married her handsome prince, Prince William in a very royal wedding.

Even though The Queen lost her own husband just weeks ago, she is happy to celebrate her grandson and granddaughter-in-law’s happiness of the 10th anniversary of their wedding. As a way of celebration, the royal family’s official Instagram account released several recent photos of the happy couple as well as a few throwback photos from their wedding day. The caption reads, “Wishing The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a very happy wedding anniversary.Today marks ten years since Their Royal Highnesses exchanged vows at Westminster Abbey.”

In addition, Prince William’s dad, Prince Charles, wished him a happy anniversary in their Instagram stories on the Instagram account, Clarence House, which is the official account of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Many royal family followers have commented on the Instagram post wishing Kate and William a happy anniversary. One comment reads, “Congratulations, you are an inspiration to an entire generation of young people.”

Another follower wrote, “Happy anniversary to the future King and Queen.”

While we don’t know exactly how Kate and William will be celebrating their anniversary, they will most likely be celebrating at home instead of out in public. On their 1st anniversary, Kate cooked William fish en papillote for dinner. Perhaps she will make him dinner again. William is also known to gift his wife sapphire jewelry, so perhaps she will get a new piece of jewelry to mark the occasion.

If you’re married, how do you usually celebrate your anniversary?
