12 People Who Turned Their Cats into Dinosaurs With Strategic Haircuts

If you’ve ever owned a long-haired cat, you know that these types of cats need to have their fur brushed every single day or else it will get extremely matted. Skip a few days, and you might be able to work the mats out, but if you go too long, it may not be possible.

Think about when your own hair gets tangled up. It’s not fun or pain-free working the tangles out, but we tend to brush our hair on a regular basis, and we’re not finicky cats, so we deal with it.

Sometimes brushing a cat can be way easier said than done. Cats are independent creatures, and if they don’t want to do something, it’s often hard to make them do it. They also have claws. Sharp claws.

All of these reasons have led some cat owners to shave their cats. Shaving a cat to remove mats is not really a new thing, but it is usually a last resort.

Now, some cat owners are making shaving their cats into a trend with a new cat hairstyle known as the “dino-cut” and sometimes the “dragon cut.” Yes, owners are shaving their cats’ fur in such a way that they resemble tiny dinosaurs.
